Onions and shallots can be stored outside the refrigerator and should be kept in a dry and open place. If stored in the refrigerator, peel and wash thoroughly. Store in a container with a lid food.

1. Store in a dry, well-ventilated place.

  • Put the onions and shallots in a mesh bag and hang them in a dry, ventilated place.

2. Place on charcoal.

Line a vented basket with paper cut out with holes, place the shallots or onions in it. And place in a dry, airy place, or place the charcoal in a covered container, place the paper cut out with holes. Then place the onions or shallots in it, cover, and refrigerate.

3. Wrap with plastic wrap.

Peel the onion and wrap it in plastic wrap. Peel the shallot and wrap it in paper towel to drain the water from the shallot. Then store it in a container with a lid and refrigerate.

4. Wash and store in a jar.

Pick the shallots into small pieces, choosing only the beautiful ones. Soak them in plain water (to make them easier to peel). Rinse them in plain water again until clean. Drain and put them in a jar and refrigerate.

5. Wash and refrigerate.

Peel the onion and shallot and wash them. Prepare a bottle or container with a lid. Place a piece of paper towel at the bottom of the container. Add the onion or shallot. Cover with paper towel and put the lid on. Refrigerate.

6. Wash and freeze.

Peel the onion and shallot, wash them, put them in a bag and eat them at each meal, then put them in the freezer.

7. Put it in an envelope.

Place the onions or shallots in an envelope, seal it properly, and refrigerate.

8. Do not store in a closed place.

Storing onions or shallots in a sealed box or bag can cause mold to grow because the onions release water.
